Macromedia has finally released info on Flash MX 2004 (and the rest of the MX line, but I don't use any of their products at all).
My favorite new features/improvements:
- Spell Checking and Search/Replace
- PDF and EPS File Support
- History Panel and Commands (like Photoshop)
- CSS Style Sheets (my #1 problem with Flash now)
- Improved Runtime Performance
- Forms-based development (meaning no timelines if you don't need them)
- Source Code Control
- External ActionScript File Editing
- Slides (buh-bye PowerPoint, at least for me)
- Data Connector Components
- Data Binding
- Device Player Emulators (not that I have need for this now, but hopefully one day...)
