The Macromedia Flex pricing has been so high that most non-Macromedia employees saw it was a barrier to entry that would keep Flex from ever being considered by too large a portion of the developer community. They have now announced a remedy for that. There is now a free non-commercial license. I look forward to some nice toys coming from this.
