Dear Podcasters

This is not directed at all podcasters, just those of you who hide your words, thoughts, and ideas behind a smokescreens of "uh" and "um" and stutters and stumbles and coughs and sniffles and mumbles and all the other annoyances that make your broadcasts so hard to listen to. To you podcasters (and if you don't know who you are, just ask, if anyone is listening, they'll tell you either way), I ask that you please listen to NPR's Pulling Back the Curtain and, if you can't fix your broken speech patterns, at least attempt to improve your delivery to somewhere near a conversational level. If you're actually LISTENING to podcasts, you're asking for it.

Just because Adam Curry does something doesn't mean it makes sense for 99% of the rest of the world.

I guess my view is a bit skewed because the first couple podcasts I listened to were pretty good. I didn't realize how exceptional those were until later.

You be right about that, Rockin' Shannon! Fortunately in the month I've been listening to podcasts I have a small collection of high-value, well-delivered podcasts that fill my allotted podcast listening window. Regards!
